The Liberating Act of Painting

My first painting.

(If you don’t count my earlier watercolor works from elementary school.)

Quite pleased with how it turned out, as I was painting from memories of a particular bar in Cape Town called Tagores. Staring at the painting now churns up memories & feelings of that place. So, for me that simple painting is a roaring success.
